Paint Technologist

Actively involved in research & development of new product to expand product portfolio
- Approving & matching shades for products (Industrial Paints) for production batches, R&D purposes
- Developing new products & Raw Materials, formulations for coatings.
- Conducting and managing product trials of new Raw Materials
- Posting development of products, developing formulation sheets, procedures, specifications, and maintaining Master control samples for recording and researching purposes
- Conducting quality checks on Raw material under development
- Analyzing new supplier for better raw material and cost cutting measure on management suggestion
- For shades matching and analyzing new shades as per customer requirements
• Responsibilities and Duties

- Lab Instrument Knowledge
- Must be well versed with computers and communication skills
- Research and Development of Paint & coating products, which includes literature survey, development of formulations, international statutory requirements, safety of raw materials and products stability study, Q.C and documentation.
- Also evaluating performance characteristics of products and taking corrective action for enhancement of performance scientific validation of test results.
- To train the production team for the manufacturing of the developed /modified products as per the requirement.
- Involve in trouble shooting, de-bottle necking and solving process problems.

• Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Masters in Paint Technology

Must have worked in stream of Industrial Paints ( Automotive, wood coatings,NC, PU ) & Liquid Inks

Should have thorough knowledge on Raw materials

Lab Instrument Knowledge
• Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent
• Salary: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
