Position Overview:

We are looking for a passionate Java SDET to join our high-performing engineering team. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in automated testing for cloud-native applications and be highly skilled in Java development. You will help ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain automated tests for Java-based cloud-native applications.
Create test automation solutions for REST APIs, message processing, and UI workflows.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to test and analyze systems.
Design test strategies and execute plans independently.
Perform exploratory, regression, integration, and system testing.
Participate in agile ceremonies and provide daily status updates.
Identify process improvements and document best practices.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Mandatory Skills &

Qualifications:

3–5 years of experience in Quality Engineering/Test Automation.
Strong hands-on experience with Java , Spring , JUnit , and REST APIs .

Experience with UI automation tools like Selenium or Protractor .
Knowledge of message processing and tools like Kafka (or similar).
Proficiency with Linux/Unix environments.
Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Git/Bit Bucket , Jenkins , Maven .
Exposure to Agile frameworks such as Scrum or SAFe .
Familiarity with BDD/TDD , code review, and static analysis tools (Sonar, Checkmarx, Fortify).
Strong communication, analytical, and collaboration skills.
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to Have:
Experience testing applications deployed on cloud platforms like PCF .
Experience in testing microservices-based architectures .
Advanced understanding of Design Principles and Patterns .
