Security Officer (Walkin)

Full job description
We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Officer to join our team and help maintain a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and property. The ideal candidate will possess strong observation skills, sound judgment, and the ability to handle emergency situations with a calm and composed demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons.
Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a visible security presence.
Prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or unusual activities.
Report in detail any suspicious incidents or security breaches.
Maintain activity logs and prepare incident reports when necessary.
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required.
Ensure compliance with company rules, safety procedures, and regulations.
Operate security systems including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
Provide assistance and directions to visitors and employees when necessary.
Qualifications and Skills:

Graduate or equivalent; additional security training or certification is a plus.
Proven experience as a security officer or similar role.
Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
Physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Integrity and professionalism.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
