Role Overview

The Big Dumb Project is looking for Content Creators who love being in front of the camera, have great comic timing and send pookie dance videos when asked to give an ETA for the latest reel (please don’t do this, give us both the ETa and the pookie dance videos).

Responsibilities

1. Create and act in funny, relatable, and high-engagement short-form videos (Reels) with a strong comedic angle for various brands

2. Shoot humorous content using mobile phones or basic camera gear (brownie points for basic editing skills)

3. Use simple camera equipment and lighting to capture clear, expressive visuals that enhance comedic timing

4. Ideate and produce trending, laugh-out-loud content that aligns with the brand’s voice and resonates with online audiences

5. Stay on top of viral challenges, memes, and comedy trends across Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube

Requirements

1. Naturally funny and expressive with a camera-friendly, confident on-screen presence that aligns with social media's exaggerated acting skills

2. Basic video shooting skill—bonus points for basic editing skills and good comic timing

3. A jugaadu mindset—you can make people laugh with minimal resources

4. Strong grasp of what makes content go viral, especially in the comedy space

5. Knowledge of social media algorithm and how to game it for reach)

5. Must have at least 1,000 Instagram followers with content that shows off your acting and comedic chops

6. You must be from Mumbai
