Job Title: Senior Accountant
Location: Rajkot
Department: Finance & Accounting

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all monthly financial information.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain general ledger integrity.
• Review journal entries, invoices, and expense reports.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement accounting best practices.
• Mentor and support junior accounting staff.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CA preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in [industry, e.g., manufacturing, SaaS, non-profit, etc.].
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
• Familiarity with financial planning and analysis tools.

Working Conditions:
• Full-time position with occasional overtime during close cycles or audits.
• Hybrid/Remote work options may be available.
• Fast-paced, collaborative work environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
