Job Title: Home Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Nandanvan Estate

Reporting to: Estate Manager / Homeowner

Employment Type: Full-Time / Contract

About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Home Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all aspects of residential maintenance and repairs. This role requires a working knowledge of home systems including electrical, plumbing, waterproofing, painting, and general upkeep. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and capable of managing both routine maintenance and emergency repairs with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate day-to-day maintenance activities in the residence.
Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems, plumbing lines, walls, and fixtures to identify and address issues.
Oversee or perform minor repair work in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting.
Plan and manage preventive maintenance schedules for home infrastructure and appliances.
Ensure proper waterproofing of terraces, bathrooms, and exterior walls.
Recommend and oversee paintwork using appropriate products for various surfaces.
Liaise with external vendors (electricians, plumbers, painters, etc.) and monitor quality and timelines of contracted work.
Maintain records of all maintenance work, materials used, and vendor interactions.
Monitor and manage inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables.
Ensure all safety protocols are followed and maintenance work does not disrupt household operations.
Respond quickly to urgent repair needs and coordinate immediate solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in home or building maintenance (3+ years preferred).
Solid knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, waterproofing, and painting practices.
Experience supervising technicians or external service providers.
Strong troubleshooting skills and practical problem-solving ability.
Ability to read technical manuals and interpret service documentation.
Good communication skills for interaction with homeowners, vendors, and support staff.
Physically fit and comfortable working indoors and outdoors.
Organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:

Technical certification in electrical, plumbing, or general maintenance.
Familiarity with maintenance tracking software or spreadsheets.
Basic budgeting and procurement experience for repair materials and services.
Work Hours & Compensation:

Full-time role; flexibility required for emergencies or weekend tasks.Compensation based on experience and qualifications.
