Kitchen Assistant/Cook

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety and preparation techniques, with the ability to create delicious breakfast and lunch along side our chef. We feed our employees breakfast and lunch Monday to Friday. 8 Hour day shift from 8-4 pm.

Duties

Prepare and cook breakfast items like bacon and eggs, boiled eggs, pancakes for employees in the morning.
Assist the chef with the lunch menu item by working efficiently.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food storage areas.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Wash dishes with a commercial dishwasher.
Qualifications

Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or food service environment.
Exhibits a positive attitude.
Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
