About the Job: Oracle Database Administrator
Job Summary:
• We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of Oracle databases, including backup/recovery, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
• They will also be responsible for monitoring database performance and recommending improvements for operational efficiency.
• Additionally, they will perform database maintenance like reindexing, update statistics, and review and optimize query tuning.
• The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of Oracle 12C, 18C, and 1+C, as well as experience with Data-Guard, Cloning, RMAN backups, Golden Gate, and point-in-time recovery, ASM.
• They should also have good knowledge in Linux operating system and hands-on experience in writing shell scripts/Perl/python.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
