Database Engineer

This position involves developing and maintaining robust data transformation pipelines using DBT and Snowflake. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing data models and schemas to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of information.

Key responsibilities include developing DBT models to transform data into useful, actionable information and collaborating with data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to understand data requirements.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of data governance and security policies and be able to ensure compliance with these policies. In addition, they should have experience working with database pipeline architectures and be able to build, test, and maintain these architectures.

A successful candidate should have excellent team player skills, strong communication skills, and ownership skills. They should be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
