Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Shingler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and construction, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. As a Shingler, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Install shingles and roofing materials according to specifications and blueprints.
Perform repairs on existing roofs, including caulking and sealing to prevent leaks.
Utilize hand tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
Conduct thorough inspections of roofs to assess conditions and determine necessary repairs.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Lift heavy materials as required during installation processes.
Qualifications

Proven experience as a carpenter or maintenance person, with specific experience in roofing preferred.
Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings.
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing tasks.
Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights.
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship.
Ability to work in various weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 70 per week
