Job Description
Barjac Construction Management is looking to fill multiple Junior and Senior Carpenter positions for commercial projects within the City of Calgary and surrounding area.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with and follow instructions given by crew foreman and superintendents.
- Perform the following tasks: parapet build-up, hoarding, backing, commercial door hardware, finish carpentry, demolition.
- Work within the safety parameters as outlined in our company safety manual.
- Work with our earthworks crew as instructed.
Experience:
- Must have commercial construction carpentry experience.
- Must be familiar in the use of a scissor lift.
- Safety training is an asset.
There is opportunity for advancement within our company.
Employee benefits are offered after a probationary period.
Successful candidates will undergo post-offer drug testing for all controlled substances. Please do not apply if you use drugs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00-$34.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 44 per week
