We're seeking an Assistant Manager for our Designer Brands banner who will excel in leading the store environment.
As an Assistant Manager, you will report to the Store Manager and assist in fostering inclusivity and diverse customer connections. Your key responsibilities will include coaching and leading the team to achieve store objectives, which includes sales, web orders, goals, recruiting, performance management, training, and development.
Key Job Accountabilities:
• Achieve business results by consistently creating exceptional customer experiences.
• Facilitate achievement of business results by role modeling a shopping experience that encourages uniquely responsive customer service and compelling merchandise presentation.
• Lead an operationally sound business by balancing company policies, procedures, shrink/loss prevention, payroll, reporting, and scheduling.
• Recruit, manage, develop, and train top talent who share our passion for fashion.
• Achieve company objectives and enhance the Designer Brands image by modeling our values of Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Authenticity/Humility.
• Develop and implement agile business plans to drive results.
• Foster teamwork, collaboration, and change advocacy within the store and district.
• Maintain effective lines of communication with the Store Manager.
Qualifications:
• Proven success in achieving sales and profitability targets.
• Proficiency in computer use, including Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in progressive retail supervisory roles.
• Ability to work varied schedules, including days, evenings, and weekends.
