Accounting Expert Wanted:
We are seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager – Accounts. In this role, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day accounting operations, managing compliance, and supporting financial reporting across the organization.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting entries and review books in Tally Prime
- Manage accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and payment tracking
- Prepare GST workings, TDS filings, and coordinate with consultants for monthly returns
- Perform bank reconciliations, vendor/customer account reconciliations
- Maintain and verify ledgers, journals, and petty cash
- Assist in monthly MIS preparation and expense tracking
- Ensure timely closure of books and assist in statutory & internal audits
- Liaise with vendors for balance confirmations and payment clarifications
- Support finance automation processes and suggest improvements
Key Requirements:
- 4–6 years of accounting experience, preferably in a startup or mid-sized company
- Strong hands-on experience in Tally ERP + / Tally Prime (mandatory)
- Good knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic financial compliance
- Proficient in MS Excel / Google Sheets
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA Finance preferred
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership

We are looking for a meticulous and tech-savvy E-Commerce Accountant to join our finance team and ensure seamless financial operations.
JOB SUMMARY:
The E-Commerce Accountant will oversee financial transactions, reconcile e-commerce sales, manage tax compliance, and support financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience in e-commerce accounting, proficiency in accounting software, and a strong grasp of GST, TDS, and other Indian tax regulations relevant to retail and e-commerce.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Financial Record Keeping & Reconciliation:
- Maintain accurate records of all e-commerce transactions across platforms (Shopify, Amazon, Flipkart, etc.).
- Reconcile sales, refunds, charge backs, and payment gateways (Razorpay, Pay Pal, etc.) with bank statements.
- Monitor marketplace payouts, seller fees, and commissions.
2. Tax Compliance & Reporting:
- Ensure timely and accurate GST filings, TDS deductions, and e-way bill generation.
- Handle tax-related documentation for domestic and (if applicable) cross-border transactions.
- Support internal and external audits with necessary financial records.
3. Inventory & COGS Management:
- Track inventory costs, COGS (Cost of Goods Sold), and stock movements.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to reconcile physical inventory with financial records.
4. Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Analyze sales performance, pricing strategies, and profitability by product category.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
5. Process Improvement & Automation:
- Identify inefficiencies and implement digital tools (Tally, Quick Books, Zoho Books) for smoother accounting workflows.
- Work with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Logistics) to optimize financial processes.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CA/CMA/CPA or pursuing certification is a plus.
- Experience:
2+ years in e-commerce/retail accounting, preferably in fashion, sports, or lifestyle brands.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in Tally, Quick Books, or Zoho Books and advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
Experience with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, or other e-commerce platforms.
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, e-invoicing, and Indian accounting standards.
- Soft Skills:
High attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Adaptable to a fast-paced, growing e-commerce environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) or inventory management software.
- Familiarity with international shipping/taxation (if handling exports).
