Jasper Place Contracting is looking for an experienced and motivated Fence & Deck Carpenter to join our growing construction team. If you're passionate about craftsmanship, enjoy working outdoors, and have a keen eye for detail, this is your opportunity to make an impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and install fences (wood, aluminum, vinyl, chain link)
Construct custom decks using pressure-treated wood and composite materials
Install gates, privacy screens, garden planters, trellises, benches, and other outdoor features
Construct wood retaining walls and garden edging
Load, unload, and organize materials and tools on-site
Measure, cut, and install lumber accurately and safely
Apply stains, sealants, and paint as required to complete projects
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient job site
Collaborate with team members and follow project plans or site instructions
Requirements:

2+ years of relevant carpentry or construction experience
Proficiency with hand and power tools (saws, drills, levels, etc.)
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Comfortable using smartphones/tablets for timesheets, job tracking, or communication
Strong problem-solving skills and sound decision-making on the job
Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Nice to Have:

Understanding of local building codes and best practices
First Aid or safety certifications (e.g., CSTS)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$2+.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
