Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will support pharmacists in various tasks, ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy while providing excellent patient care. This role is crucial in maintaining the quality of service and safety in medication administration.

Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
Maintain inventory levels by monitoring stock and placing orders for medications and supplies as needed.
Provide exceptional customer service by answering patient inquiries and addressing concerns regarding medications.
Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations, including proper storage and handling of pharmaceuticals.
Support the medication administration process by preparing prescriptions for patients and assisting with medication management.
Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals and patients.
Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare staff to ensure seamless patient care within the hospital setting.
Experience

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with medical terminology is highly desirable to enhance communication within the healthcare team.
Experience in patient care settings, particularly within hospitals, is advantageous for understanding medication administration protocols.
A background as a pharmacy technician can be beneficial, providing insights into pharmaceutical practices and regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.50-$1+.+6 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
