About the role
As a GCP Cloud Administrator, you will provide support for existing and implement new Cloud components used in a GenAI platform for devops and IT Teams, such as gateways, WAFs, routing, load-balancing, authentication, observability. You will lead performance and capacity management, security compliance of related cloud components.
You will work with devops and architecture teams to implement cloud solutions that are scalable, secure, and efficient, helping us deliver high-quality software products and services.
What you'll do here:
• Implement & manage Cloud infrastructure across different clouds (GCP, AWS, Azure), making sure it aligns with the company's long-term goals.
• Ability in implementing and delivering with focus on high quality results in tight deadlines.
• Collaborate with various groups including Infrastructure, DevOps, Security, and Vendors to garner support, resources, and drive results throughout project lifecycle, from ideation, design, delivery, operation, and maintenance.
• Advise management on Cloud technologies and trends to guide decision-making and strategic direction.
• Promote the use of advanced Cloud solutions, including Gen AI, to support business growth.
• Execute and improve Cloud governance frameworks to manage risks, meet regulations, and ensure data security and integrity.
• Assist in the selection of Cloud technologies and tools, creating a strong ecosystem that supports our technical and business goals.
• Encourage continuous improvement, focusing on best practices for cloud architecture and management.
• Develop, test, debug, and quickly release scalable, resilient, and highly available cloud-native applications.
• Develop and improve self-service Cloud infrastructure tools and Cloud Native Application CI/CD Pipelines, empowering devops and developpers with cutting-edge solutions.
• Recommend and implement strategies to optimize costs and improve efficiencies, making the best use of resources and vendor software.
• Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and assess their potential impact on our business.
What you bring to the table:
• At least 5 years of experience in Cloud computing (GCP)
• Proven experience in executing cloud strategies for large organizations, with deep knowledge of at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP), preferably multiple.
• Successful track record of leading cloud projects, effectively managing risks, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
• Extensive experience with cloud security frameworks, regulatory compliance, and risk management; cloud security certifications are a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, translating technical challenges into strategic solutions that add business value.
• Good leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor technical teams, influence stakeholders, and collaborate across departments.
• Excellent documentation skills, capable of summarizing cases clearly.
• Ability to write clean and efficient code & scripts.
• Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) and automation tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, and modern software development practices.
• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation, focusing on optimizing and streamlining development workflows..
• For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country.
• No Canadian work experience required but must be eligible to work in Canada.

In this role, you will :
• Support sourcing, onboarding, and engagement of volunteers under their supervision in accordance with the CRC volunteer management structure.
• Facilitate the integration of the emergency response workforce in the planning of activities and responses.
• Develop the teams' independence through collaboration with volunteers to implement and apply the standards and procedures regarding response activities.
• Identify where the operational capacities of the teams under your supervision should be improved and implement an action plan to meet the identified needs.
• Support the development, planning, and organization of preparedness activities in various formats (virtual, simulation, etc.).
• Follow up on administrative activities and the quality-of-service delivery with the teams under your supervision.
• Produce activity reports on the accomplishments of the volunteer teams.
• Represent the CRC with various partners to build and maintain relevant relationships with community organizations.
• Take part in emergency responses in Québec and Canada as needed.
• Assume temporary roles and responsibilities during emergency responses.
• Be on-call alternating with other team members.
What we are looking for :
• A college diploma in recreation, ambulance, police services, social sciences and humanities, or the equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in committee facilitation and volunteer management.
• Fluency in French and English is required.
• Relevant work experience in emergency management and response is an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
• The ability to write activity reports.
• A valid driver's license.
• The ability to deploy to disaster response operations.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in ever-changing circumstances; flexible availability is required.
• Positive, unifying, and engaging leadership.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
Working Conditions :
• This position is based in one of the CRC offices in the province of Québec, either in Montréal or Québec City.
• The incumbent may have to work non-traditional hours during on-call periods, emergency responses and deployments.
• Travel within the province and occasional domestic travel are part of the regular duties of the position.
• As we work with and support people (managers, colleagues, beneficiaries/customers, volunteers, donors and external partners) and communities in Canada and around the world, applicants whose first language is not English may be required to perform the responsibilities of the role in English.
