Overview

The Baker’s Helper is responsible for executing a full range of duties professionally, accurately, and promptly. The role emphasizes delivering excellent customer service and adhering strictly to Food Safety Protocols, SOPs, corporate policies, and safety standards. The Baker’s Helper demonstrates teamwork, interpersonal skills, and a commitment to the success of the Thrifty Foods team. The position involves providing exceptional customer service, fostering loyalty, fulfilling customer needs, and contributing to an engaging environment for both employees and customers.
Job Responsibilities
• Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, SOPs, Health & Safety standards, and company policies.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of Thrifty Foods policies and department procedures.
• Perform duties related to the Floor Maintenance Program.
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and presentable at all times.
• Operate equipment correctly and safely.
• Enhance product knowledge, stay updated on product changes and seasonal needs.
• Greet customers with eye contact and a smile, establishing positive interactions.
• Be dependable, conscientious, and punctual.
• Progress in the use of ovens and understanding of product preparation.
• Assist supervisors by preparing equipment, materials, and retrieving stock.
• Receive, rotate, and manage stock products and ingredients.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace according to company standards.
• Perform other duties as required.Job Requirements
