Job description
We’re looking for a hard-working mover to add to our growing staff. In this role, it will be your job to help us move our clients’ furniture and items from one location to another. You’ll do this for both residential and commercial customers. The key to this role is being able to move furniture safely without damaging it. To do this, you will need to wrap the furniture in protective material and use caution while loading, transporting and unloading it.

Your job will also require you to maintain an inventory that tracks all of the items that you’re moving for a customer. It is essential that this is as accurate as possible; as doing so will ensure that we don’t misplace or forget anything during the moving process.

To do well with us as a mover, you will need to be physically fit, punctual, and professional. If you meet these qualifications, then we’d love to see your resume.
• Mover Responsibilities:

- Wrap furniture and items in protective material
- Create and maintain moving inventory lists
- Move items from one location to another
- Set up the items in their new location
- Answer any questions that the customer may have about the moving process
- Secure loaded items properly to avoid damages
- Ensure that no items are damaged during the moves that you work on
- Pre and post checks making sure everything is clean before and after the move
• Mover Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Capable of lifting heavy objects repeatedly
- Physically fit
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required
• Starting rate is $17/hr
• Job Type: Casual
• Salary: $17.00 per hour

Schedule:

- On call
- Weekends as needed
