Labour Dispute Private Investigators - Part Time (Barrie and Brampton, Ontario)
At Xpera Risk Mitigation and Investigation, we provide specialized labour risk management and security services during labour disputes across Ontario. We are committed to protecting the rights and safety of employees, management, and the public through expert intervention, conflict resolution, and factual investigation.
We are currently seeking experienced and licensed Labour Dispute Private Investigators, to join our team for short-term labour disputes in Barrie and Brampton. This is an intensive, high-responsibility role requiring 12-hour shifts, sometimes including weekends and holidays. Ideal candidates are observant, calm under pressure, and possess the communication skills to document findings with clarity and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct surveillance and evidence-gathering during labour disputes in a legal and ethical manner.
Monitor site activity and track the behaviour of picketers, employees, and third parties.
Interview stakeholders, document incidents, and prepare factual, detailed reports.
Collaborate with site supervisors, legal teams, and operations staff to maintain safety and compliance.
Handle and secure video, photographic, and written evidence.
Work independently in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
Valid Ontario Private Investigator license required
Strong report-writing and verbal communication skills
Willing and able to work 12-hour shifts, including overnights, weekends, and holidays as required
High degree of discretion, professionalism, and integrity
Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation (preferred)
Physically able to remain alert and attentive for long periods
Willingness to travel extensively across Ontario (accommodations provided)
