Security Officer (Walkin)

Job description
We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Officer to join our team and help maintain a safe and secure environment for our employees, visitors, and property. The ideal candidate will possess strong observation skills, sound judgment, and the ability to handle emergency situations with a calm and composed demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons.
• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a visible security presence.
• Prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or unusual activities.
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents or security breaches.
• Maintain activity logs and prepare incident reports when necessary.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required.
• Ensure compliance with company rules, safety procedures, and regulations.
• Operate security systems including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems.
• Provide assistance and directions to visitors and employees when necessary.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Graduate or equivalent; additional security training or certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a security officer or similar role.
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
• Physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Integrity and professionalism.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
