About the role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Disability Support Worker to provide personal care and look after the health and wellbeing of our clients through the provision of high quality care.

You will be responsible for providing disability support to our clients. This includes

Providing day to day support
working with a team of support workers as per roster provide daily living support, ensuring resident's appointments and health and wellbeing needs are met
Arranging for household supplies, ensuring the house is kept clean and tidy, responding to hazards, and reporting.
Showering, bathing, Hoist, meal preparation, cleaning
Experience in supporting clients with Huntington Disease is an advantage
Essential requirements:

Demonstrated evidence as an experienced disability support worker supporting clients within a residential setting
Current First Aid Certificate
Current Police Check
Current Working with Children's Check for paid employment
Current Drivers Licence and own car
Successful candidates will be required to NDIS Workers screening check.
In accordance with the NSW Public Health Order, mandatory vaccination will be required for this position. Where applicable, evidence will be requested at probity check stage.

Pay: $24.40 – $40.00 per hour
