Key Responsibilities
Serve legal documents to individuals, businesses, and legal representatives as required by court rules and applicable legislation
Conduct in-person delivery of documents within the assigned jurisdiction(s), ensuring personal service when mandated
Complete and submit accurate affidavits of service or attempted service in a timely manner
Communicate service attempts and outcomes to the Service Coordinators and/or clients
Investigate and locate individuals for service using available information and resources
Strategically plan routes and service attempts to ensure efficiency and success
Follow all legal and procedural guidelines to ensure the validity of each service
Maintain detailed and accurate records of service attempts and completed deliveries
Represent the company professionally and respectfully when dealing with clients, defendants, and members of the public
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
Strong communication and ability to build rapport with new people
Creative problem-solving ability to address unique challenges
Strong attention to detail
Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments
Technologically savvy and comfortable using apps to document and record keep
