As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Accounting Coordinator to manage and maintain accurate financial records and contribute to our ongoing financial operations.

Job Description

The Bookkeeper & Accounting Coordinator will be responsible for full-cycle bookkeeping and financial reporting, ensuring all accounting processes align with Canadian corporate standards. This role is perfect for a self-starter who thrives in a structured, organized environment.

Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & Finance

Maintain accurate and current financial records using QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, including issuing invoices and monitoring collections.
Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor statements monthly.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking for operational departments.
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and general ledger reconciliations.
Support the preparation of year-end financial statements and coordinate with external accountants and auditors.
Ensure compliance with CRA regulations, including HST/GST filings and payroll remittances.
Assist in payroll processing and recordkeeping.
Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of han
ds-on bookkeeping experience, preferably in a corporate or SME setting.
Software Proficiency: QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a must).
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with Canadian accounting and tax regulations.
Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Communication: Clear and professional verbal and written communication.
