Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Engineer (SE) with strong proficiency in Java, golang to join our dynamic engineering team in Hyderabad. As an SE, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Backend applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. Good product-based / e-commerce background: Experience working on Product/e-commerce platforms or similar complex systems is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
• Design and implement database architectures that meet business requirements.
• Analyze, develop, and optimize database structures, schemas, and models.
• Perform data migration, transformation, and integration tasks.
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with application developers to support database design and queries.
• Conduct regular database backups and disaster recovery planning.
• Stay updated on database technologies and trends, recommending improvements as needed.
• Mentor and guide junior database engineers on best practices and techniques.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Database Architect or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.
• Extensive knowledge of database design, data modeling, and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with cloud database solutions (e. g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database).
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Understanding of data security, privacy, and compliance regulations (e. g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with big data technologies (e. g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for database management.
