Treasury Accountant

We are currently in search of an ‘ AP Senior Accountant ’ in our Pune, India office The position will report to the Finance Manager and will play a key role in our accounting team as we continue to grow quickly and internally The best fit for this position would be someone with a strong work ethic & the ability to process transactions efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities: • Prepare and maintain SOPs and DTPs to ensure robustness of the procedures; timely update and obtain sign-off SOP changes • Identify training needs for Level 1 and level 2 team members, and implement necessary training • KPIs/production targets while ensuring compliance • Preparing & Booking Journal entries, Reconcile and manage bank GL and Month-end Closing activities • Performing reconciliation of cash disbursement • Prepare payment batches for ACH, WIRE and Cheque payment • Train and coach team members, and serve as a backup • Do AP & Treasury Payments • Ensure that the close activities are performed as per the agreed close calendar • Ability to get into the detail and come up with process improvement ideas to reduce close cycle time and or flatten the close peak effort requirement • Drive continuous process improvement • Assist in special projects as needed • Must be available to work Pacific Time Zone shifts Qualifications: • • • •More than 5 years of recent experience on global accounts payable function and T&E with MNC • •Highly proficient in Excel, Word and other MS Office • •Excellent communication skills • •Experience with working on accounting software systems, and a plus with experience in Coupa, Netsuite • •Highly analytical with exceptional organization and prioritization skills, and proven ability to meet hard deadlines • •A high degree of attention to detail • •Strong skills to communicate concisely, both written and verbally • •Strong work ethic and ownership of tasks • •Ability to work cohesively with multiple people in a fast-paced team environment • •Committed to Pacific standard time zone At Coupa, we have a strong and innovative team dedicated to improving the spend management processes of today’s dynamic businesses
