We are now looking for a dynamic History Teacher to join our team and guide our students on a journey to explore the past and understand the world’s physical and cultural landscapes.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and deliver dynamic lessons that make History (SST) exciting, relevant, and engaging for students.

· Help students make connections between historical events and geographical phenomena, promoting a holistic understanding of both subjects.

· Assess students’ progress through innovative assignments, projects, and exams while providing constructive feedback to guide their learning journey.

· Create an interactive learning environment that encourages discussions, debates, and critical thinking on historical issues.

· Integrate current events and real-world examples into lessons, helping students see the direct impact of history on their everyday lives.

· Organize and oversee student activities that bring Social Science concepts to life, presentations, and history-related projects.

· Regularly track and report student performance, maintaining transparent communication with both parents and school administration.

· Collaborate with fellow teachers to develop cross-disciplinary projects and ensure the curriculum aligns with ICSE standards and fosters academic excellence.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in History, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

· Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree

· Strong understanding of the ICSE curriculum and effective teaching strategies.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Previous teaching experience in ICSE schools is an advantage.
