Indigenous Hospitality Officer | Pinangba Services | Cairns
Employment Term: Part Time
Location: Cairns
Remuneration: $2+.04 + 11.5% (12% from 1 July 2026) Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging
Rosters: Between 7am and 3pm, 16 + hours per week
We are seeking individuals who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander who are interested in pursuing a career as a Hospitality Officer (Cleaner)
To perform this role, it is essential that the person is an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person. It is therefore a genuine occupational requirement under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1++1.

Your part in our team
As an Hospitality Officer a key support role to the delivery of our services, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring business operations are run efficiently and our clients and residents receive an exceptional experience.
You will:
Supporting senior hospitality staff members with daily operations which may include housekeeping and laundry services
Preparing, cooking and delivering food in adherence with Australian food safety standards and dietary Requirements of our residents
Being required to uphold impeccable hygiene standards.

Prior hospitality experience in kitchen or cleaning
Ability to work alone in a kitchen environment
Enthusiasm and strong self-motivation
Great communication skills and excellent attention to detail
Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
