Freelance Fashion Designer for Indian Menswear

We are seeking a talented and experienced Freelance Fashion Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating seasonal and festive collections that cater to the brand's vision and customer preferences.
About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about upscale Indian fashion. You will have the freedom to express your creativity and bring fresh ideas to the table.
Key Responsibilities
• Design seasonal and festive collections in line with the brand's vision and customer preferences
• Research fashion trends, fabrics, and embroidery techniques relevant to Indian menswear
• Create detailed design sketches, mood boards, tech packs, etc., for sampling and production
• Work closely with the production and merchandising team to bring designs to life
• Ensure high-quality output that reflects premium finishing and fine craftsmanship
Requirements
• 2-4 years of experience in designing Indian ethnic menswear
• Strong portfolio showcasing original menswear designs
• Sound knowledge of fabrics, Indian embroideries, silhouettes, and finishing techniques
• Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop or CorelDRAW
• Self-motivated, deadline-oriented, and able to work independently
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design from a recognized institute
• Prior work experience with luxury or premium Indian wear brands
