The Out-of-Door Academy seeks a Bus Monitor to join a thriving school that is committed to providing a relevant and student-centered learning experience.
Responsibilities - Reporting to the Transportation Coordinator, the Bus Monitor will be responsible for the following:
Provide oversight of students before and during transport on scheduled routes, field trips, and special events.
Assist students in the loading and unloading process.
Provide support and assistance to the driver as needed.
Live the school’s mission and core values of respect, integrity, service, excellence, and responsibility.
Qualifications - The following experience, skills & knowledge are required and/or preferred:
High School diploma or GED required.
Committed to safety and customer service.
Must maintain a calm presence at all times.
Strong verbal communication skills are required.
Have a genuine, caring attitude for children.
Compensation and Benefits
This is an hourly, non-exempt, part-time position available in August 2026. Compensation is highly competitive and commensurate with experience.
