Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to oversee general accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This role involves managing daily accounting tasks, preparing financial statements, assisting in budgeting and audits, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Maintain general ledger and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant accounting standards.
• Coordinate and support external audits, including preparation of schedules and documentation.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Process and review journal entries, accruals, and intercompany transactions.
• Supervise and mentor junior accountants and support staff.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial accuracy.
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders including auditors, tax advisors, and vendors.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
• 4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP Tally and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
