Title: Manager, IT Systems and Cloud Operations
Salary: $112,0+0 - $131,870 - $151,650 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours, +:00am- 5:00pm (core hours +am-3pm Mon-Fri)
Location: Coast Salish Territories: Metro Vancouver: Sinclair office – Hybrid (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy).
About the role
As Manager, IT Systems and Cloud Operations, you will be the resident senior technical expert on Data Centre Infrastructure who will manage a team responsible for the operation of FNHA’s two Data Centres located in Burnaby and Kamloops. You will be responsible for maintaining Enterprise server environment consisting of 450+ Windows servers, running on Nutanix Hyper Converged infrastructure. Ensuring High availability, capacity management and growth planning are key to areas of responsibility. Additionally, you will manage server, storage and networking infrastructure technology products throughout all stages of their life cycle. You will be responsible for managing a technical team made up of Sr. Systems Administrators, Sr Infrastructure Specialist, Sr. IT Cloud Specialist and Systems Administrators.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have –
Education
University degree in the field of computer science or management information systems or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Occupational Certification
Senior expert level certifications: MCSE, CCNP, or CCIE
Microsoft Azure Solution Architect, Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Cybersecurity Architect Expert
TOGAF +
ITIL Certification
Holds a valid driver’s license and is able to provide driver’s abstract
Experience
Must have at least 10 years in managing Infrastructure teams.
Have 10 years’ experience in Infrastructure architecture and Data Centre design.
Experience with highly complex HCI, Hybrid Cloud infrastructure an asset
Experience working on large technical projects in an IM/IT enterprise environment.
Experience in assessing customer requirements, architectural policy, procedures and standards, and implementing technical and business solutions.
