Full job description
Operate X-ray and diagnostic imaging equipment to produce clear, accurate images.
Position patients correctly and comfortably for imaging procedures.
Prepare patients for X-rays by explaining the procedure and using protective devices.
Ensure radiation safety standards are strictly followed to protect patients and staff.
Maintain imaging equipment and report malfunctions or issues promptly.
Assist radiologists and physicians in interpreting diagnostic images.
Maintain patient records, document procedures, and store images securely.
Monitor inventory and maintain cleanliness in the X-ray room.
Follow all infection control, hospital safety, and quality assurance protocols.
