Full job description
Essential Functions:

Assist the doctors in all tests performed.
Ensure personal hygiene before entering the lab-scrub oneself thoroughly
Take over patient cases and treatment from the previous shift nurse.
Ensure that nursing care has been carried out properly during the previous shift.
Ensure routine investigations and any other special procedures as desired by the doctor.
Maintain all charts of the patients properly. Ensure correct timings of post-operative care.
Monitor the patient carefully and regularly. Maintain a separate file for every patient.
Be present for night duty in case of an emergency
Follow the doctors on rounds to check up on the conditions of the patients.
Assist the doctors in dressings and other such procedures.
Perform Pre-medication procedures, and prepare the patients for operations.
Send the patients posted for surgeries to the O.Ts on call.
Carry out new treatment and investigations on the advice of the doctors.
Collect the specimens for the tests and dispatch them to the laboratory.
Inform cross-consultation / one-side consultation, and follow up.
Prepare the patient census and day and night instructions for each patient daily.
Carry out the patient care procedures like mouthwash, sponging, bedsore dressing, etc.
Maintain accountability for the materials and equipment used.
Replenish the stock as and when required.
Maintain emergency trolleys at all times.
If a patient expires, send the billing chart to the Billing Department immediately.
Answer patients' and attendants' queries.
Maintain the nurses' report register.
Ensure bathing and feeding for critically ill patients.
Use and perform new equipment and procedures as instructed by the nursing supervisor.
Check the expiry date of drugs.
Co-ordinate with the admission and discharge clerk.
And any other jobs assigned by the superiors as per the exigencies of work.
Entry of consultants' visits and special procedures in every shift
Usage of medical equipment and bedside procedures to be recorded in the billing charts in each shift.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
