We have a long-standing relationship with Label Vivek Khurana, a minimalist Indian menswear luxury label. They currently retail at our Origins Hyderabad store and plan to expand across India in the near future.
Job Title: Freelance Fashion Designer – Indian Menswear

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Freelance Fashion Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality designs that reflect our brand's vision and customer preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design seasonal and festive collections in line with the brand's vision and customer preferences
• Research fashion trends, fabrics, and embroidery techniques relevant to Indian menswear
• Create detailed design sketches, mood boards, tech packs, etc, for sampling and production
• Work closely with the production and merchandising team to bring designs to life
• Ensure high-quality output that reflects premium finishing and fine craftsmanship
• Collaborate on custom orders and exclusive pieces when required
Requirements:
• 2 – 4 years of experience in designing Indian ethnic menswear
• Strong portfolio showcasing original menswear designs
• Solid knowledge of fabrics, Indian embroideries, silhouettes, and finishing techniques
• Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop or CorelDRAW
• Self-motivated, deadline-oriented, and able to work independently
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred but not mandatory:
• Degree/Diploma in Fashion Design from a recognized institute
• Prior work experience with luxury or premium Indian wear brands
