Job Summary
The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the ********* dispensary, its staff, and its customers. This includes strictly verifying the identification of all individuals entering the premises to prevent underage access and diligently monitoring the interior and exterior of the facility to deter theft, maintain order, and respond effectively to any security incidents. The ideal candidate will be observant, responsible, and possess excellent communication and de-escalation skills.

Monitor and control access points to ensure only authorized personnel enter the premises.
Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Document incidents and prepare reports on security-related matters for management review.
Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns or incidents.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage to property.
Manage conflicts effectively, using de-escalation techniques when needed to resolve disputes peacefully.
Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Previous security experience preferred, especially in a retail or regulated industry.
Excellent observation and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to act decisively and appropriately in emergency situations.
Knowledge of basic security procedures and practices.
