Role Description & Experience 5 years of relevant experience Design, implement, and maintain PostgreSQL database architectures that meet business requirements and performance standards Manage database security including user access controls, permissions, and authentication mechanisms Implement and manage high availability solutions through replication, clustering, and failover strategies Monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies to improve query execution times Develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and business continuity Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues with minimal downtime Plan and execute database migrations, upgrades, and patch management Establish and enforce database standards, procedures, and best practices Collaborate with development teams to optimize database design and query performance Implement automation solutions for routine database administration tasks Ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulatory requirements Document database configurations, procedures, and infrastructure changes This role requires exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic environment.
