Key Responsibilities:

Teach Design & Technology at the AS & A Level, ensuring alignment with the Cambridge syllabus.
Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that incorporate both theoretical and practical elements.
Guide students in product design, engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and CAD/CAM techniques.
Provide hands-on experience with materials, tools, and digital design software to develop students’ technical skills.
Evaluate student progress through assessments, projects, and coursework.
Foster an innovative and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
Stay updated with technological advancements and integrate them into the teaching curriculum.
Support students in preparing for examinations, portfolios, and design challenges.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary learning experiences.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design & Technology, Industrial Design, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of teaching experience in AS & A Level Design & Technology (Cambridge curriculum preferred).
Strong understanding of design thinking, prototyping, product development, and emerging technologies.
Proficiency in using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or other relevant design software.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to mentor students on independent projects and coursework.
Passion for fostering creativity and critical thinking in students.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with 3D printing, laser cutting, and CNC machining.
Knowledge of sustainability and ethical considerations in design.
Experience in conducting workshops, competitions, or exhibitions related to Design & Technology.
