Job description
Key Responsibilities of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Role:
• Develop and implement annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans in alignment with business objectives.
• Analyze financial performance, identify variances, and trends to inform strategic decisions.
• Provide timely financial insights and risk analysis to senior management.

Accounting and Compliance Duties:
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, etc.
• Ensure timely completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparations and closures.
• Maintain statutory compliance with relevant financial regulations.
• Proficient knowledge and experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.

Cost Control and Optimization:
• Monitor and manage cost centers, working capital, and operating expenses to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Collaborate with operations teams on cost analysis, inventory valuation, and pricing strategies.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve bottom-line results.

Taxation and Regulatory Compliance:
• Ensure accurate and timely filing of direct and indirect taxes.
• Handle tax assessments, audits, and interact with tax consultants or authorities as needed.

Banking and Treasury Management:
• Manage cash flows, fund flows, and banking relationships to optimize financial performance.
• Oversee working capital management, letter of credit issuance, and loan compliance.

Audit and Risk Management:
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure seamless audit processes.
• Establish and maintain robust internal controls and risk management practices.
• Ensure adherence to established financial policies and standard operating procedures.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
• Support the Chief Financial Officer in making strategic finance decisions.
• Liaise with auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies as necessary.
