Job description
We are seeking an accomplished Investment Banking professional to lead our Client Coverage Team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in client relations, deal origination, and mandate execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead client coverage, deal origination, and mandate execution
• Build and nurture relationships with corporates (Promoters/Directors/C-level executives) and investors/lenders
• Drive business development initiatives to secure new mandates
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum 15 years of overall professional experience
• At least 10 years in Investment Banking or similar roles in Banks, Financial Institutions, or Fund Houses
• Proven experience in client coordination and investor relations
• Prior experience managing a project team/vertical or leading a similar function
• Hands-on experience in managing the complete deal life cycle, including execution
Education:
• MBA, CFA, CA, or MFA from a reputed institute
Industry Exposure:
• Mandatory experience in Investment Banking or Investment Advisory
This role offers exposure to a diverse range of deals, including structured finance, project finance, M&A, equity fundraising, and capital markets transactions, covering the entire deal life cycle for both Indian and international mandates.
The position is designed to develop skills for independent deal execution while fostering strong relationships with corporates and investors/lenders.
The successful candidate will have a proactive, self-starter attitude and be highly proficient in English, local dialect, and culture.

Key Mandate:
• Client Coordination & Code Review: Ensure seamless banking domain operations through code reviews, security compliance, and client coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
• Technical Oversight & Code Reviews:
• Provide technical direction and conduct rigorous code and schema reviews to ensure performance, maintainability, and compliance.
• Client Communication & Alignment:
• Act as primary liaison with clients' Infra, InfoSec, and Development teams—clarifying requirements, validating deployment plans, and aligning on access, ports, and audit policies.
• Architecture Validation:
• Confirm containerization strategy (Docker), data flow structure, and tech stack compatibility with on-prem constraints—ensuring future scalability and modularity.
• Data Format & API Contract Finalization:
• Lead the definition of ingest data specs, normalisation rules, and monthly batch window constraints. Finalize API response schema and peer comparison logic.
• Security & Compliance Leadership:
• Vet token management strategy, Redis TTL and invalidation logic, and secure secret storage mechanisms, aligning with enterprise security expectations.
• Documentation & Sign-offs:
• Own all technical documentation: infrastructure diagrams, sequence diagrams, data flow specs, and configuration checklists required for SBI IT approvals.
• Sprint-Level Technical Guidance:
• Support product and engineering team with technical confirmations on edge-case handling, architectural trade-offs, and milestone-go/no-go decisions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience with:
• Node.js (NestJS) for API services
• Python (High level understanding) for ETL and AI pipelines
• MongoDB – schema design, replica setup
• Redis, Docker, and shell scripting for Linux VM environments
• Understanding of enterprise security protocols and enterprise technology infra
• Experience coordinating with enterprise clients, especially BFSI, on network access, deployment approvals, data sharing, and security reviews.
• Strong communication skills — must be able to lead technical discussions with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders
