With our Corporate office located on Prince Edward Island, Sunly Energy is the leading solar provider in the Maritimes with several franchises across Canada.

Summary:

We are currently seeking an Administrative Coordinator to support the project delivery team during the critical phase between contract signing and installation. This is a 6-month remote fixed term contract role.

Responsibilities:

CAD Requests and Uploads

Coordinates with the drafters by providing necessary site information for permit drawing sets; and
Reviews and uploads completed drawing packages.
Engineering Requests and Uploads

Submits permit sets and site data to Engineers for review and stamping; and
Reviews and uploads finalized engineering documents.
Utility Applications

Prepares and submits utility applications across various jurisdictions; and
Requests application payments as needed and follows up on outstanding application submissions.
Building Permit Applications

Completes and submits building permit applications for multiple municipalities; and
Coordinates application fee requests and tracks submission status.
General Administrative Support

Performs general administrative duties as needed, including CRM data entry, document tracking and coordinates internal communications.
Other

Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent, post-secondary education is an asset;
Experience using Salesforce or other CRM systems;
Strong computer skills, with the ability to learn new systems quickly;
Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills, with strong telephone etiquette;
Highly organized with strong attention to detail;
Proactive and self-sufficient, comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and takes initiative to seek out additional tasks;
Prior experience in construction, engineering, utilities or permitting is an asset (not required); and
A criminal record check is required.
