Role Description:

We are looking for a Furniture Designer / Millwork Engineer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone currently working in a modular furniture manufacturing unit (not dealers).

You will be responsible for production detailing, technical coordination, and managing end-to-end project execution—from design to delivery. The ideal candidate should be hands-on with technical drawings, have a solid understanding of materials, and be comfortable working on-site and attending client meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare production-ready detail drawings with accurate specifications.
Develop technical designs for modular furniture, kitchens, wardrobes, and washroom setups.
Possess strong material knowledge – laminates, plywood, hardware, etc.
Coordinate with internal production and design teams for site survey and production planning.
Understand and integrate MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) aspects into furniture layouts.
Prepare and manage quotations and BOQs for client projects.
Attend techno-commercial meetings with clients, architects, and project managers.
Conduct site visits in Delhi, Gurgaon, and surrounding areas as needed.
Requirements:

B. Tech or Interior Design Degree.
4+ years of experience in furniture/millwork design within a manufacturing unit (not a dealer/retail showroom).
Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design software.
Strong understanding of production processes and factory-floor requirements.
Familiarity with modular kitchen and toilet work, including electrical and plumbing integration.
Excellent communication and client handling skills.
Should be comfortable with travel for site visits in Delhi NCR.
Male candidates preferred for easy mobility across sites.
