Role Overview:

Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University is seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Lab Technician to support the practical and laboratory requirements of the School of Pharmacy and Research. The candidate will be responsible for assisting faculty and students in conducting laboratory sessions, maintaining lab equipment, managing chemical inventory, and ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and setup of laboratory experiments for pharmacy students.
Maintain, clean, and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments.
Ensure the availability and proper storage of chemicals, reagents, and lab materials.
Supervise student activities in the lab and ensure adherence to safety guidelines.
Assist faculty members in practical demonstrations and lab-based research activities.
Maintain detailed records of lab usage, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
Handle chemical waste disposal as per safety and environmental regulations.
Support the smooth operation and management of pharmacy labs as per academic requirements.
Eligibility Criteria:


Qualification: Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm)
Registration: Mandatory registration with the State Pharmacy Council.
Experience: 0-3 years of relevant experience in pharmacy laboratories or in a similar capacity.
Skills Required:
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical laboratory procedures and equipment.
Basic knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and chemical handling.
Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to assist and coordinate with students and faculty effectively.
