Full job description
Purpose

To ensure the smooth operation of electrical systems in the manufacturing plant by performing installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial electrical equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Maintenance
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in an industrial environment.
Ensure electrical installations comply with relevant codes and standards (e.g., IEC/IS).
Install control panels, motor starters, relays, switches, lights, and other industrial components.
Troubleshooting
Diagnose malfunctioning electrical systems using testing devices like multimeters, clamp meters, etc.
Identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair to ensure safe operation.
Preventive Maintenance
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance of motors, panels, transformers, and PLC-based systems.
Maintain logbooks, reports, and records of performed maintenance.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all safety protocols while working with high-voltage and control systems.
Ensure compliance with OSHA / IS safety standards.
Coordination
Work closely with the production and mechanical teams to ensure minimal equipment downtime.
Support external contractors or vendors when required.
Energy Efficiency
Suggest improvements for energy savings and cost efficiency related to electrical usage.
Qualifications and Skills:

ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
2–5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹230,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
