Job Title: Supervisor, Logistics - India ,Jaipur

Location: Jaipur

Position Type: Full-Time

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supervisor, Logistics to supervise and manage the logistics operations and secondary shipment deliveries for the Central Region. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with logistics service providers, monitoring performance, and ensuring on-time deliveries while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.

This role will require a proactive approach to problem-solving, process improvement, and vendor management, with a focus on achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) and optimizing logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
Logistics Operations Management: Oversee the end-to-end logistics operations for secondary shipments (sales orders) in the Central Region, including coordination with logistics service providers and external agencies if needed.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Implement and review the companys SOPs to ensure efficient secondary shipment delivery.
Performance Monitoring: Develop action plans to enhance regional delivery performance and resolve customer complaints within defined KPIs.
Vendor Management: Monitor logistics service provider performance, ensure on-time deliveries, and review vendor contracts periodically, suggesting necessary adjustments based on business requirements.
Reporting & Analysis: Generate delivery performance, MIS, and regional performance analysis reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Customer Service Excellence: Ensure timely closure of customer issues, resolve distributor order complaints within 48 hours (as per SLA), and ensure service levels are met.
Process Improvement & Automation: Support process automation projects, implement process improvements, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.
Vendor Evaluation: Conduct monthly evaluations of all logistics vendors based on defined KPIs and meet with underperforming vendors to develop action plans.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Supervise Warehouse Team, 3rd Party Warehouse, and Logistics Service Providers.

Organizational Relationships
Collaborate with all levels of the organization at the local level.
Must have strong interpersonal skills and effectively manage horizontal relationships across internal departments.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
Bachelors degree in any discipline (MBA in Material Management / Supply Chain Management preferred).
Experience:
3-5 years of experience handling warehouse operations.
Experience in handling logistics partners and expanding into new locations.
Proficiency in Oracle/SAP/Track Trace systems for shipment and complaints tracking.
Skills:
Strong MS Office skills, with the ability to work with BI systems for report generation.
Excellent data analysis and presentation skills.
Knowledge of Supply Chain Management is preferred.
