Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Chef to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.

Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations. This role requires a reliable and enthusiastic individual with a passion for food and teamwork.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and café-style dishes to a high standard
Plan and execute daily food preparation in line with recipes and portion controls
Ensure quality, freshness, and presentation of all food served
Monitor and maintain stock levels, ordering supplies as required
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Support junior kitchen staff and contribute to training as needed
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen at all times
Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure efficient service

Skills, Qualifications & Experience Required:

Minimum 1 year of full-time experience as a Chef
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification
Solid understanding of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene
Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced café environment
Strong communication and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
