Global Functions Technology (GFT) is part of RBC’s Technology and Operations division. GFT’s impact is far-reaching as we collaborate with partners from across the company to deliver innovative and transformative IT solutions. Our clients represent Risk, Finance, HR, CAO, Audit, Legal, Compliance, Financial Crime, Capital Markets, Personal and Commercial Banking and Wealth Management. We also lead the development of digital tools and platforms to enhance collaboration.

As the ML Ops Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying, monitoring and troubleshooting ML models in production, requiring skills in CI/CD, cloud platforms and will be working closely with the development team and business partners to deliver medium to high complexity initiatives aligned with EDA and GFT strategic objectives.

What will you do?

Provide technical support for machine learning applications in production environments.

Collaborate with the development team to understand the architecture and design of machine learning systems.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.

Implement automation tools and frameworks to improve operational efficiency.

Develop and maintain documentation on system procedures and troubleshooting guides.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment of new features and updates on cloud as well as linux systems.

Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical production systems.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role in software development and system administration.

Experience with machine learning applications and their deployment in production environments.

Knowledge of DevOps tools like Git, Docker, Jenkins, and Kubernetes.

Strong problem-solving skills with an investigative mentality and a proactive approach.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
