Holding Montessori Casa or Montessori Elementary certificate Macte accredited or OCT or ECE

· Planning and implementing a Kindergarten or lower Elementary Program.

· Observing and documenting children's learning.

· Building relationships with families and including them in the learning process.

· Working as part of a team with Co-workers, Families, Community Partners, and Children.

· Ensuring the safety of staff and children by learning and acknowledging all children's diverse needs, backgrounds, and creating equitable opportunities for all children to engage.

· Demonstrating respect for spaces by ensuring the safety and cleanliness of all equipment, furniture, and materials.

The right candidate should have strong leadership qualities, enjoy taking initiative, possess diplomatic communication skills in difficult circumstances, and have experience teaching Casa students or Montessori Elementary students. Genuine warmth and love for guiding children and their families

Understand and implement Montessori pedagogy and initiative to do and bring new things to the classroom and school.
Must be able to independently write report cards.

The ability to implement a Montessori curriculum utilizing AMS, NCME, AMI or another recognized developmentally appropriate Montessori practice; planning the daily curriculum; facilitating student growth in developmental, academic and cognitive domains by promoting student participation in the learning experience; establishing strong positive relationships with parents, children and staff.

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
