Key Responsibilities

Architectural Innovation & Modular Design Leadership

- Lead the conceptualization and development of groundbreaking modular building designs, ensuring they are highly functional, aesthetically compelling, and optimized for cost-effectiveness and industrialized manufacturing.
- Drive the integration of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) principles into all architectural designs, ensuring seamless factory production and rapid on-site assembly.
- Innovate continuously on building layouts and component combinations to create a versatile and expandable product catalog, akin to the "IKEA for steel construction" vision.

Strategic Proposal Development & Thought Leadership

- Develop and present compelling architectural proposals that clearly articulate our modular solutions, showcasing thought leadership and differentiating our offerings in the market.
- Collaborate with business development and sales teams to create visually stunning and technically robust presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the company's intellectual property by exploring new design paradigms and construction methodologies in modular building.

AI & Automation for Design & Proposals

- Leverage a deep understanding of AI tools and computational design to automate and accelerate the generation of diverse building design layout combinations.
- Implement and refine AI-driven workflows to enhance productivity in design exploration, optimization, and visualization.
- Develop and integrate automated systems for generating high-quality, customized proposals, significantly reducing manual effort and improving response times.

Client Engagement & Customer-Centricity

- Act as a primary architectural liaison with clients, understanding their unique needs and translating them into innovative, practical, and cost-effective modular design solutions.
- Champion a "customer as King" mindset, ensuring client satisfaction through exceptional design delivery, clear communication, and proactive problem-solving.
- Present design concepts and technical solutions to clients, effectively communicating value and addressing feedback.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of architects and designers, fostering a culture of innovation, precision, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, cost estimation, and project management to ensure design feasibility and successful project execution.

Qualifications

Education:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a reputable institution.

Experience:

- 4+ years of progressive experience in architectural design, with a significant focus on modular, prefabricated, or industrialised construction projects.
- Proven track record of leading design teams and delivering innovative, cost-effective building solutions.
- Experience in developing proposals for large-scale construction projects.

Technical Acumen:

- Expert proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Grasshopper).
- Demonstrated expertise in Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) principles.
- Deep application layer understanding and practical experience with AI tools for generative design, layout optimization, and automation of design processes (e.g., AI-powered design tools, scripting for automation, data-driven design).
- Familiarity with tools or platforms that can automate document generation or proposal creation.
