About Us

Duke Painting Limited, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality painting services to residential and commercial clients across Auckland. Our team is dedicated to excellence, and we are looking for three skilled and motivated painters to join our talented team.

Employment Type: Permanent Full-time
Minimum guaranteed hours: at least 30 hours weekly - Max 45 hours
Location: 5 Noel Williams Place, Windsor Park, Auckland
Key Responsibilities:

Setting up scaffolding, ladders, and protective coverings to shield nearby areas from paint splatter
Preparing surfaces by stripping old paint or wallpaper, repairing woodwork, filling cracks and holes, and sanding and sealing as needed
Mixing paints to achieve specific colours by combining pigments, oils, and various additives
Applying paint, varnish, and stain using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
Installing wallpaper, ensuring pattern alignment, and trimming edges for a clean finish
Cleaning tools and tidying the work area after completion
Managing the project and supervise other team members as necessary
The work is primarily conducted on residential and commercial construction sites, both
indoors and outdoors, sometimes at heights.
Following all relevant health and safety policies, including the use PPE, safe handling of
paints and solvents, and ladder safety procedures.
Other relevant duties as necessary
Requirements

Experience in residential or commercial painting - minimum 3 years.
Attention to detail & quality workmanship
Ability to work independently & in a team
Reliable with a strong work ethic

This is a great opportunity for a diverse and challenging role in a fast-paced environment. Remuneration is negotiable for the right candidate, between $2+.50 -$35.00 per hour, depending on the number of experiences and qualifications.
