Content Writer

We're a Canadian-based company specializing in high-performance diesel truck parts, built by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts. Operating out of our facility in West Kelowna, BC, we handle everything in-house and online to serve diesel owners across North America.

Dirty Diesel Customs is looking for a Content Writer with a marketing mindset to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who can write clean, technical product copy and also understands how strong content supports the bigger picture, from the website to marketing campaigns.

You’ll be focused on writing accurate, engaging descriptions for diesel performance parts and accessories, while also assisting with various content and marketing tasks across the business. We’re looking for someone who’s detail-oriented, self-motivated, and confident, taking initiative when something needs to get done.

Responsibilities:

Write clear, technically accurate product descriptions for our e-commerce site.
Edit and optimize existing content for clarity, consistency, and SEO.
Assist with category pages, landing pages, and other on-site content.
Contribute to email copy, marketing assets, and brand pages.
Collaborate with our product and marketing teams to maintain a consistent tone and content quality.
Identify content gaps, outdated info, or opportunities to improve how we present information.
What We’re Looking For:

Strong writing and editing skills.
Ability to write for both function and marketing appeal.
Familiarity with SEO principles, basic digital marketing, or content strategy.
Self-starter who’s organized, proactive, and not afraid to ask questions or dig into a task.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, or related tools is a plus.
Enthusiasm for the diesel or performance automotive industry is a strong asset.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
